superposition is a performative installation in which I slowly cover spaces, by applying paper tape’s strips horizontally, in order to obtain a thin and uniform membrane covering them completely. It is a slow and repetitive action which develops from the bottom to the top, simulating the movement of a printer and questioning time, space, context and artistic work as a social and economic practice.
Francisco Goya’s THE SLEEP OF REASON PRODUCES MONSTERS is a part of a series of allegorical, satirical and humorous drawings having human vices and miseries as subjects. The appropriation of this title, in this case, serves to represent a series of heterogeneous collections which, not only take to extremes the idea of contemporary allegory, but also bring to light compulsions, obsessive repetitions and claustrophobic accumulations typical of our society
